Chevron has commissioned Klassen Corporations for 2 projects. These projects include: their Security Enhancement Facility in Bakersfield and their 31x Processing Plant in McKittrick. With both of these projects, the Klassen team worked to add security features as well as aesthetically pleasing designs.

Bakersfield Energy Center Security Enhancement

This project added security features to the Energy Center which are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Concrete planter walls and stainless steel bollards were added at strategic locations to prevent vehicles from entering the campus. Also constructed was a concrete fountain at the front entry and a large structural steel canopy in the back that functions as a patio and gathering location.

Klassen Corporation was commissioned to build the Chevron 31X Processing Plant located on the Cymric Oil Field. The approximate 5,500 sq. ft. metal building serves as a plant control room. The facility houses an employee breakroom, conference room, and office space in addition to the state-of-the-art control room.
