West Side Rec & Park District

Klassen Corporation was commissioned by the West Side Recreation and Park District to design and build a new multipurpose leisure facility for the surrounding community. The 20,802 square foot building includes a Gymnasium, Weight Room, Activity Room, Preschool, Lobby and four bowling lanes available for public rental. The project also included the installation of an 80kW solar Rooftop System, including electrical infrastructure, PV panels, combiner boxes, inverters and tie-into building electrical infrastructure. This system qualified the District for PG&E’s California Solar Initiative Program which awarded them a rebate of over $80,000.
