Golden Valley High School

Golden Valley High School is the fifth re-use of Klassen’s comprehensive High School design.The round site plan reduces both the number of steps and the amount of time required to traverse the campus. The 600-seat Performing Arts Auditorium is equipped with stage sound and acoustic system, while the Gymnasium provides seating for 1,824 spectators (1,752 with disabled/handicapped accommodations) for basketball and volleyball games.

The campus includes a spacious Cafeteria with a 650-person capacity for seated meals. The campus has 79 teaching stations to accommodate a comprehensive educational curriculum. The latest technology components were utilized including a LEAN and fiber optic backbone for communication systems and Internet access. In the campus central quad, the large landscape areas allow students to mingle, visit, and enjoy the fresh air and open space.
